In order to get virtual desktops on Windows XP, you have to use the Microsoft PowerToys download page. Follow these simple steps to get the virtual desktops:



Go to the “Microsoft PowerToys download page”.



Choose DeskMan.exe from the list on the right hand side of the window.



It will allow you to download the file named DeskmanPowertoySetup.exe. Double-click on the file.

Choose the option "complete" for installing

    Most of us have resigned ourselves to just using those tan or white powerstrips to keep all of our gadgets up and running. Sure, they’re by no means attractive, but they do the job well enough that we cope with the plain looks. Thankfully, at least designers are still putting out an effort to come up with new and interesting ways to keep things powered. Not only does this plug look pretty, but it offers an extra twist that makes the gadget more convenient.

When you plug in a device, a ring around the socket will instantly light up with a pretty blue light. If you pop off one of the balls it can be converted to charge your cellphone wirelessly. You just lay your dead cellphone on the right spot and it’ll come back to life again. Sadly the Takoyaki Adaptor is currently a concept design and nothing more.

Creating Wordpress Themes Made Easy

     

     I came arcoss this on the net and found it interesting ndtought you might want to try it and play around with it to see if you like it.For those who may me interested in Word Press Themes...   I don’t know about you, but I’ve been working with WordPress for many, many years, and have greatly admired people who can create wonderful WordPress themes. The most I can do is log into the WordPress admin area and scroll through the different available themes, download one and click “activate”. Badda Bing. Job done. But the free themes always seemed to require customization which was just beyond my simplistic editing (hacking) know-how. I’ve always wondered how the heck people design wonderful-looking themes… are they graphic-design geniuses, or what?

Well, it turns out that you can create great-looking WordPress themes without knowing a lick of CSS, HTML or the latest DOCTYPES. Phew, what a relief, eh?



I recently stumbled across a cool piece of software which lets you create WordPress-friendly themes while customizing things like background graphics, header graphics, number of columns, column width, font size, font type, font color, table spacing and TONS more, all within the “sandbox” of the software. When you’re happy with the look of your theme, you simply export it, upload it to your WordPress “theme” directory and activate it within your WordPress admin area. It was so easy, I had a theme I was 100% happy with uploaded to my blog in about 30 minutes, starting from knowing nothing about theme design or the software.


The software is called Artisteer. I used it to make the theme currently at my 3DTV reviewer blog.
You can download Artisteer and play with it for free (like I did), but any themes you create will carry watermarks. To nuke the watermark, you have to buy the software. For me, it was a no-brainer. I loved the theme I created, and Artisteer saved me having to either learn CSS and WordPress theme design or pay a professional each time I wanted a new theme. With Artisteer I can create as many as I like, for just the one-time registration fee.

InfoLinks -Infolinks Ads its a Pay Per Click advertising program that can earn us cash

   I have added InfoLinks onto my blog so I can start earning some cash that I need so much in order to get the Laptop I need so much its a pay per click advertising program . It will show you words within my posts that I have written and these words will have double underlined links and when you move your mouse over these double underlined links a small dialog box containing ads related to the text marked will come up .  Its a way to earn some extra cash which I need so I hope you will check this out.                                                                                                                                                                These links are part of a pay per click advertising program called Infolinks. To Be Forgotten is disappointing and mostly Sad

           

Today Im going to open my heart up to you all and hope you will have understanding and compassion.. I just read an article posted at 30something and searching. today.com the title was titled Disgusted and it was about this grandmothers 90th Birthday and she has a brother who has never bothered to send her a Birthday card. So of course the rest of her family were disgusted about it. So of course I left a comment and wished her a Happy Birthday even tho she does not know me I still wanted her to know that this stranger cares and does understand and that I hope she lives to see her next birthday. As for that person Im also disgusted with that lowlife . Gosh just a few minutes of time to send a card to show he cares is all it takes. I know it hurts her to be forgotten by him but she should not miss him with all the love that the rest of her family showers on her…. You all just continue to love her and show her you care and hopefully this will make up for her disappointment. One day tho he will come around but by then it will be to late and believe me he will never be able to forgive himself and he will realize the wonderful lady he missed sharing his time with. I know exactly how she feels for Im in the same situation with my daughter and it does hurt to be forgotten by your own flesh and blood . I try not to think about it but its always there in the back of my heart…No cards on my birthday, no calls, no nothing and I even still took it upon myself to write and ask her for help because I have a spine disease called scoliousous my spine is crooked and I walk sort of hunchback going like sideways and eventually I will no longer be able to use my legs so I told her about my poor health and how blogging makes me feel Im doing some good to help care and feed and shelter these stray dogs I take in my small shelter . I told her I blog for donations because I love animals and they cannot help themselves and they need me, but my computer is breaking down on me and I need to get another one prefer a laptop so I can lay down and prop up with pillows because it hurts my back when I sit blogging for a period of time. The pain is to much for me.,and propped up on pillows I can still do my blogging I told her it did not even have to be a new one for her to share her good fortune and send me money to get a laptop or just mail me one. What Happpen as always she ignored my letters. I was desperate and this is why I wrote to her because I thought after so many years when she ws already grown Id sent her money when she was in need so I thought being this was the first time I asked her for help to get a laptop computer to do what I enjoy she would help out. I was disappointed and cried my eyes out when she did not even bother to answer.
