The New" Most Radical and Fundamental" New Twitter Makeover Page

Last week Yahoo rolled out a new front page to much fanfare.

At the time I reported on the sweeping changes the internet portal made to its shop window if you like...the entry point for some of the 570 million people who visit the site every month.

The killer approach is personalisation, letting users customise links to Yahoo and other services they use most frequently from news to social networks to e-mail to movies.

Yahoo described the overhaul as the most "radical" and "fundamental" makeover of the site since it began more than a decade ago.

Well now the insanely popular micro-blogging service Twitter is following suit. The changes are initially aimed at helping newcomers to the site navigate their way around and understand the brave new world of tweeting.

Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter blogged:

"Helping people access Twitter in more relevant and useful ways upon first introduction lowers the barrier to accessing the value Twitter has to offer and presents the service more consistently with how it has evolved".
He also explained that Twitter has changed and morphed from a:

"rudimentary social tool based on the concept of status messages" into "a new kind of communication and a valuable source of timely information. Also it's fun."
For the serious stuff think Iran, Mumbai, China and the Hudson River. For the fun stuff think Oprah, Ashton Kutcher and irrelevance. Sometimes for some and all the time for others.

What is most interesting about the makeover is the company's focus on search. As a real time search tool it is invaluable to a host of people from journalists to marketers and from big and small companies to anyone who cares.

The old home page definitely had an amateurish ring to it with its claim that Twitter was a way for friends and family to stay connected by answering one simple question "What are you doing?" Today the new home page presents a loftier aim and encourages users to "share and discover what's happening right now, anywhere in the world."

Certainly at least anywhere in the world where Twitter is being used but with an estimated 40 million worldwide users since the beginning of the year and the desire to reach a billion, it could be argued that Twitter is on the right track with that statement.

Join the conversation...or not. But if you do, be careful what you Tweet.

Amanda Bonnen knows that to her cost. Earlier in the year she tweeted that the apartment she was staying in was mouldy...and to her then handful of followers she said:

"Who said sleeping in a mouldy apartment was bad for you?"
Well the property management company that was named is not happy and has filed a lawsuit that accuses Ms Bonnen of defaming the company and are asking for $50,000 in damages.

New Sheriff For Entrecard- Interesting story

New Sheriff For Entrecard
Entrecard has become the puppy of another company. Today we received a form letter from the acquirers of the system that brings bloggers and writers from all over the world together. The growing pains and problems associated with many of the early adopters have been seen as whining. But Entrecard has stayed the course and has grown against the grain of web trafficking and social services. Read belos the letter sent to all of us about the future of a potential avenue where entrecard is headed down.
Hi everyone,
I would like to write on behalf of ZipRunner, Inc. to express our excitement about the future of Entrecard. As an angel investor, I saw the potential in Entrecard a couple years ago. I immediately recognized its uniqueness, its networking capabilities and its diverse user base, and became a board member of Entrecard when the company was 6 months old. I truly believe Entrecard is the best networking platform for the blogging community and will continue to be a lead provider of blogging services for years to come.
Before I can begin to discuss the future of Entrecard, I would like to first express our gratitude to Graham Langdon, Founder of Entrecard. Graham has done an excellent job managing Entrecard to where it is today. It will be our duty to continue keeping users posted about changes to Entrecard and to continue providing Entrecard users with new services that will increase traffic to blogs.
I understand that there are many questions about the recent acquisition of Entrecard by ZipRunner. ZipRunner is an investment company with many years of experience with Internet companies. We intend to have a smooth transition and will continue to provide essential services such as dropping cards, earning credits and allowing bloggers to network. We believe that these services are what make Entrecard special. In addition, Entrecard will continue to have Richard Clark (phirate), Entrecard’s founding developer, on its management team.
Furthermore, ZipRunner is prepared to take Entrecard to the next level. We have carefully read blog comments and the help desk to gain a better understanding of users’ concerns. We value our Entrecard users and we intend to address your comments and to provide you with the best blogging service possible.
In closing, I would like to reiterate that ZipRunner is looking forward to working with Entrecard users and improving Entrecard services. I only ask that you give us a chance and your patience. Look for great things to follow in the coming weeks, and months.

Same-Name couple to Wed after FaceBook meeting

MIAMI - This October, Kelly Hildebrandt will vow to share her life with a man who already shares her name.
This is no joke. Kelly Katrina Hildebrandt, 20, and Kelly Carl Hildebrandt, 24, expect just over 100 guests at a ceremony at the Lighthouse Point Yacht & Racquet Club in South Florida, where they will become husband and wife.
"He is just everything that I've ever looked for," she said in an interview. "There's always been certain qualities that a guy has to have. And he has all the ones I could think of - and more."
Their modern romance was a match made in cyberspace. She was curious and bored one night last year, so she plugged her name into the popular social networking Web site Facebook just to see if anyone shared it.
At the time, Kelly Hildebrandt, of Lubbock, Texas, was the only match.
So she sent him a message.
"She said 'Hi. We had the same name. Thought it was cool,'" Kelly Carl Hildebrandt said. "I thought she was pretty cute."
But there were also concerns.
"I thought, man, we've got to be related or something," he said.
For the next three months the two exchanged e-mails. Before he knew it, occasional phone calls turned into daily chats, sometimes lasting hours. He visited her in Florida after a few months and "fell head over heels."
"I thought it was fun," he said of that first online encounter. "I had no idea that it would lead to this."
Months after Kelly Hildebrandt sent her first e-mail, she found a diamond engagement ring hidden in treasure box on a beach in December.
"I totally think that it's all God's timing," Kelly Katrina Hildebrandt said. "He planned it out just perfect."
She's a student at a local community college. He works in financial services. They plan to make their home in South Florida.
It hasn't been all smooth sailing. A trip on a cruise ship almost got canceled when the travel agent deleted one ticket from the system, thinking someone had plugged in the same information twice.
There was also some uncertainty about how to phrase their wedding invitations, so they decided to include their middle names. But any confusion likely won't carry on past the husband and wife. Kelly Katrina Hildebrandt said there are no plans to pass along the name to future children.
"No," she said. "We're definitely not going to name our kids Kelly." Source: Internet News Be Sure to Leave Your Comments!

Google Adwords Free eCourse

Those of you who are into internet marketing have probably heard of Perry Marshall before. He’s one of the big gurus of the whole business. I’ve been checking out some of his stuff as well as others because I’m honestly curious about how these guys are making money out there on the internet.
I’ve read so many stories about people making thousands of dollars a month or more just from Adsense or Adwords or Affiliate Marketing. There are, of course, other advertising systems people are making money from, but you get the picture.
There are also a lot of scam artists taking your money and giving you very little in return. I don’t know what the ratio is, but I’d be willing to be many of those people selling ebooks and courses have gotten their money just from selling ebooks and courses.
With that said, I signed up for Perry Marshall’s free eCourse on using Google Adwords (aff) and was impressed by the content. He actually gave me enough useful information that I was able to understand the basics of how you can make money with it.
That’s not to say that everyone’s going to read his email course and make a million bucks from it. I think the rule still applies that most people won’t even bother getting the knowledge and that of those who do, most won’t ever use it. Out of the remainder, once again, most will quit after a short attempt that ends in failure. That’s just the way things go. Most people quit when things get difficult or confusing.
Back to the point of this post: if you’re at all interested in internet marketing or making money on the internet, check out Perry Marshall’s free eCourse. Yes, he does try to sell you on some of his other products, but the free information is actually pretty good. Be Sure to Leave Your Comments!

Another Note On Disappointment

I was reading over some of my favorite posts from other bloggers recently and came across one of my favorites from Steve Pavlina: 10 Reasons You Should Never Get a Job. I’ve mentioned this before Jobs are for Suckers! and it’s still a great motivator for those of you who want to break free from the rat race and take control of your lives.
Near the bottom of the article, though, it struck me that the same advice he gives in the article works well for dealing with disappointment:If any of this makes you mad, that’s a step in the right direction. Anger is a higher level of consciousness than apathy, so it’s a lot better than being numb all the time. Any emotion — even confusion — is better than apathy. If you work through your feelings instead of repressing them, you’ll soon emerge on the doorstep of courage. And when that happens, you’ll have the will to actually do something about your situation and start living like the powerful human being you were meant to be instead of the domesticated pet you’ve been trained to be.
This is great advice. Instead of just letting the disappointments and stresses of life kick our butts, we need to use them as motivation to move forward. Yes, it’s incredibly difficult to change the habits that have gotten us entrenched in bad situations, but if we’re able to channel that emotion, that discontent, that extreme discomfort, into something useful, there are tremendous strides to be made in success, satisfaction, and happiness.

The Michael Jackson spammers

BEWARE your Passwords will be stolen....
As millions upon millions of people rush to the internet to find out the latest on Michael Jackson, the underground network of spammers have sensed a business opportunity too good to miss.
They figure that at such a time, people have their guard down in their eagerness to substantiate rumours and half-truths. That has meant, for the legion of internet swindlers, this has been the ideal moment to trot out spam e-mails and throw up malicious websites to infect victims' computers.
As news of Michael Jackson's death was coming through, the scams started appearing almost instantaneously. As the days have passed, the guys behind these nefarious operations have stepped up their game.
Mr Jackson's death "took a lot of people by surprise - the spammers too," Dermott Harnett of anti-spam engineering at Symantec Corp told the Associated Press.
"It might take them some time to really pounce on this issue. They are catching up pretty quickly, though."
Spam is the most common way for fraudsters to find victims after these types of events. The easiest way to lure people into the trap is to trick users to click on e-mail attachments so that the online crooks can infect computers and take command of them for more underhand activities.
Symantec says the spam about Mr Jackson gets more convincing every day. One message promises a YouTube video showing the exclusive "last work of Michael Jackson." Unfortunately all users get is a malicious programme that steals their passwords.
Another example is that of a promise to show the "latest unpublished photos" of the so-called Prince of Pop if people click on a link which actually installs a password-stealing programme on users' machines.
Dodgy solicitations are even coming in the guise of legitimate news organisations that seem like the real deal because they contain accurate enough information to persuade people to click on the link. Others promise access to secret songs.
In an e-mail I received from Websense Security Labs ThreatSeeker Network, they warned about spam e-mails offering recipients links to unpublished videos and pictures of the late pop star. All of course fabulously enticing to see in this frenzied atmosphere.
In some cases the spam may force a pop-up message asking users to update their copy of Adobe's Flash. This is seen as a standard hacker tactic notes ComputerWorld.com as a way to install spyware.
One of the newer scams that Sophos has noticed is a malware-free scam that tries to get people to send money to the bogus "Michael Jackson Organisation."
Symantec has drawn up a list of scams that will soon become commonplace as a result of Mr Jackson's surprise death and that of Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon.
These include things like spam with subject lines trying to peddle fake medicines, Twitter tweets about these deaths with links to all sorts of malicious websites and sites claiming to host videos of the last moments of these individuals lives. The purpose is to actually peddle fake goods or malware or even collect and validate live e-mail addresses to sell to the highest bidder for spamming.
The age old advice is to only visit sites you are familiar with and trust... yes, that would be the BBC. Added to that, the security community also recommends users do not click on every link that pops up related to the story, don't open e-mails from people you don't know and of course keep security solutions up to date.
In a blog, Sophos reckons naturally enough things will get worse before they get better.
"It is likely that more Michael Jackson-themed malware and spam is on its way however. It is advised that users be especially vigilant when they receive messages or links related to this news."

China clarifies web filter plans

The cartoon Green Dam Girl has been used to mock the filtering plan.
Protests have forced China to clarify whether net-filtering software has to be used on every new PC.
From July, every PC sold in China was supposed to be supplied with the Green Dam Youth Escort software.
The software was created to stop people looking at "offensive" content such as pornographic or violent websites.
But widespread disapproval inside China, legal challenges and overseas criticism have forced the Chinese government to clarify its policy.
"The use of this software is not compulsory," an official with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) told the AP news wire.
The state agency that created Green Dam has said it was possible to uninstall the program. But it was unclear whether those that did so would face prosecution.
In its ruling this week, China said anyone removing or refusing to use it would not face official sanctions.
Green Dam busters
The change comes thanks to growing criticism from Chinese people about Green Dam. A legal challenge has been filed to MIIT demanding a public debate on the legitimacy of making computer firms put the software on PCs.
Petitions calling for Green Dam to be scrapped have circulated widely and analysis shows that it does a piecemeal job of stopping pornographic sites and inadvertently blocks sites dealing with sexual health issues.
A website set up to challenge Green Dam has gathered tens of thousands of comments from those who say the filtering system is crude and blocks many legitimate sites.
The China Daily newspaper, which typically backs the government, has written stories critical of the filtering policy and reported that many PC makers were refusing to install it.
Some critics have drawn a manga-style cartoon of Green Dam Girl to mock the software's aims.
China has the largest net-using population in the world and many have turned to the web to publicise issues such as corruption that would otherwise go unreported.
Tests carried out on Green Dam outside China also showed that it left PCs open to many different security risks.
Analysis by Scott Wolchok, Randy Yao, and J. Alex Halderman at the University of Michigan found weaknesses in the URL, text and image filtering system and vulnerabilities in the software that makes machines susceptible to being hijacked.
"Green Dam makes frequent use of unsafe and outdated programming practices that likely introduce numerous other vulnerabilities," they wrote in a paper placed online. Be Sure to Leave Your Comments!

Pictures From Phone to Computer

We all know that cell phones are one of today's big crazes. An even bigger one is camera cell phones. Before we know it, all cell phones will probably have camera abilities, because the world today likes to see real images rather than just words. So, it may be a good idea to know what you can do with the pictures you take on your phone after the shooting is done.

Picture Messaging

A common way that people transfer photos from their cell phones to their computers (that doesn't really have any additional cost from your regular monthly bill) is picture messaging. It works pretty much the same as text messaging; you just have to have text messaging enabled on your cell phone. If you don't, this method will not work.

Note: Expect this method to be a little different for various phone models, but the following directions are pretty basic and similar for all phones.

If you would like to send a picture to another person's cell phone or if you want to e-mail a picture to a friend or even to yourself, you just need to open your phone and go to the Menu. Find your phone's Media Gallery and then choose Pictures. At this point, you can pick the photo you'd like to send. Once you have it chosen, go to Options and choose Send in Message (like you're sending a text message). This is where you choose to send it to one of the Contacts listed in your phone or if you want to e-mail it to someone or yourself. Pick the person you're sending it to and push the OK button and then Send.

You can also send text with the picture if you want to do that. If you end up e-mailing the picture to someone, you will just have to type in their e-mail address and they will get it in their Inbox. You just need to make sure the person you're sending the picture to has picture capabilities too.

Data Cable

Another way you can transfer photos to other people is to put them directly onto your computer, so you can e-mail them to your friends or save them to a disk or a CD. So, to do that, you have to have some sort of a USB data connection kit, which comes with the cable cord that plugs your phone into your computer's USB port and the software that will help you in transferring the pictures from your phone. You usually have to purchase these kits separate from your phone. The store where you buy your phone should have them available and they will be able to tell you which one will work with your type of phone.

Once you have your phone and computer connected, you can start transferring the pictures. Again, keep in mind that these kits are phone specific, so you need to make sure that you get one that will be compatible with your phone model.

Bluetooth

Another way to handle the pictures on your cell phone that is becoming more popular every day is a wireless technology called Bluetooth. Bluetooth works with short-range wireless technologies that allow you to easily send photos from your phone to a laptop or desktop computer. The computer you are sending them to just has to be equipped to accept the pictures.

The most difficult (but it can sometimes be fairly easy) part about Bluetooth is matching the phone to the computer, so they are both compatible with each other. But, once that it is done, sending the images couldn't be easier.

As long as your phone has the Bluetooth software on it, you can send the images without any extra charges billed to you. You can also send photos to other Bluetooth users' phones without any wires or additional charges. This seems to be the most versatile way to go if you're looking to maybe spend a little more money up front for the Bluetooth works, but it will save you money in the long run when you don't have to pay any extra charges when sending your pictures back and forth.

E-mail

Another way for you to send pictures between your friends and family is to e-mail them. Your cell phone has to have e-mail capabilities for this to work, but a lot of the phones these days come with that ability. You can e-mail them to other people or, as mentioned above, to yourself. You just have to type the e-mail address in the To: field just like you would if you were using Outlook Express and it will be sent.

If you see something while you're out and about that you just have to take a picture of, you can snap the photo on your phone, send yourself a quick e-mail and when you get home, the picture will be on your computer waiting for you. You can then send it off to other people or do something like set it as your desktop wallpaper.

Removable Memory Cards

Another new technology that is presenting itself with camera phones is an external memory card for your phone. The phone just comes with a slot for the card and you can transfer the shots to your computer in a snap. You will need to purchase an external memory card reader so it will all work, but it's one of the easiest ways to go if you takes several pictures with your cell phone.

When you have the card reader installed, you just remove the memory card from your phone, insert it into the reader and your computer will recognize it as another drive. You can then drag and drop the photos wherever you want them to go, e-mail them to others, etc. The options are pretty endless with this choice. You can then get rid of the existing pictures on your phone (since they're on your computer and not lost) and go out and take more. It's that easy!

Just one more reminder: all of these applications work differently with different phones, so make sure you refer to your phone's manual before doing anything you're not sure of. But, all in all, this is all really cool when you think about it. Who would have thought we could do so much with a little phone? Technology is just out of this world! Source: Tech News

7 Reasons Why You Get No Love From Google

Everybody wants more search engine traffic
. It helps grow your readership, it converts well monetarily, and it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling when you check your stats.
However, like many bloggers out there you probably aren’t getting as much love from Google as you’d like. Here are some possible reasons why.
1. Your SEO isn’t up to scratch.
There is a lot of depth to search engine optimization but the basics are simple to understand and implement.
Turn on permalinks.
Keywords in post titles and content.
Descriptive anchor text.
Internal linking.
Relevant outbound links.
Minimize duplicte content.
2. You don’t have enough content.
It’s simple numbers. The more pages you have indexed, the more traffic you will potentially receive.
Long tail searches are sending more and more traffic every day. Even if it’s only the odd visitor, if you have a large enough portfolio of content those visits start to add up.
3. Your content doesn’t stand out from the crowd.
Google likes unique content. If you aren’t doing enough to distinguish your content from that of others in your niche, you’ll find it hard getting your pages to rank.
4. Your niche is highly competitive.
Developing search engine traffic is not a short term endeavour and will take even longer to grow in a competitive niche.
Be prepared to work twice as hard for a fraction of the reward.
5. You are targeting a niche with a low search volume.
If no one is searching for your keywords, you won’t get any traffic.
Do your research.
There are hundreds of tools on the web to help you with keyword research and analysis. My personal favourite is SEO Book’s keyword suggestion tool.
6. You haven’t built up enough quality backlinks.
Links are your blogs lifeblood when it comes to search engines. You need links to rank but the quality of those links are far more important than the quantity.
Trust and relevancy are the two most important factors when building backlinks. A single link from an authoritative site that Google trusts is far more valuable than a hundred links from month old blogs.
Equally important is the relevancy of links. For example, if your blog is about cell phones, links from a diet blog are not going to carry much weight.
First focus on getting relevant links from sites which already rank in your niche, then worry about the numbers. Or better yet focus on developing trust.
7. Google doesn’t trust your site yet.
Trust is something many people overlook. When Google trusts your site, magical things start to happen.
Not only do you start ranking for keywords in your niche but you start ranking for searches you aren’t even targeting.
The following article at Scoreboard Media titled “I stopped Trying To Rank for Anything When I Realized I Could Build Traffic For Everything.” really opened my eyes to the power of domain trust, and the advantages it has over link Hoarding. Source: Tech News Be Sure to Leave Your Comments!

Dumb Theives leaves stolen ATM after it falls off Truck

PHENIX CITY, Ala. - Ripping an ATM from its concrete base isn't easy. Losing it seems even harder. Thieves at an Alabama bank managed to do both. Phenix City Police Chief Ray Smith said the thieves used a stolen backhoe, a pickup truck and a flatbed trailer to pull off the job at a Wachovia branch in the eastern Alabama city early Monday.
Smith said the thieves loaded the ATM onto the trailer and headed north on Summerville Road. He said that along the way, the ATM fell off the trailer.
Smith said the thieves had abandoned the backhoe at the bank and had no way to load the ATM back onto the trailer, so they drove away without it.
Smith said the backhoe and the ATM have been processed for evidence.

Blogging for Beginners- What are TrackBacks

Trackbacks - a topic I’m constantly asked for information about.
Summary: TrackBacks automate the interlinking of blog posts, but often don’t contribute to search engine ranking.
TrackBacks are notoriously difficult to explain and is an exercise that makes a great judge of the skill of any self-described ‘blogging expert.’ So here I go!
You get comments right? Easy enough. You write a post on your blog. Someone reads it and thinks you’re either sliced bread or vile ooze and comments accordingly. Just like having a mini-guestbook for each post.
What if I want to leave a comment about your blog post on my blog? That’s where TrackBacks come in.
Let’s say I read something pretty fantastic on your blog and so I write up a post about on my blog: “Hey you gotta check this out, here’s a quote from it and here’s the link to it.” And I link to that particular post on your blog. And I click publish.
Unbeknownst to most, your blog platform - whether it is WordPress or Movable Type or TypePad, scans all the links in a post each time a post is published. It finds my link to your post and then goes out to your blog and checks to see if your post is accepting TrackBacks. If so, my blog sends a little ping! to your blog as if to say, ‘Hey! Andy’s talking about you over on his blog.’ and your blog answers the ping and says ‘Alright, I’ll make a note of it.’ And then your blog makes a little note on that particular post that in effect says, “Besides all these comments under this post, here’s someone talking about this post on their own site - and here’s the link to it.”
So readers of your blog can see not just what the commenters are saying about it on your blog - but what other bloggers are saying about. I’ve seen a post’s list of TrackBacks described as ‘Other blogs linking to this post.’ Many blog tools, like WordPress, lump comments and TrackBacks into the same list.
You don’t have to know how TrackBacks work in order to use them, you can simply set a post to be able to receive trackbacks and set your blog to send them when you publish new posts. Your blog platform should do all the heavy lifting and email you when there are new TrackBacks - just like it does when there are new comments to a post.
TrackBack was first created by Ben and Mena Trott during the early days of Movable Type and has gradually been integrated into the features of most popular blog platforms. A similar technology is pingbacks which has the added security of checking to see if the pinging site actually exists.
Of course like anything fun or cool online, the evil bastard spammers got busy funneling their sewage into automated TrackBacks pingbots that left everyone’s blogs with dainty messages about mortgages, online poker and Viagra. Most comment spam blockers are now configured to also scan TrackBacks to help stem the tide of spammy TrackBacks.
One of the best parts about TrackBack is that it helped to increase your blog’s linked-ness and search engine ranking. With the introduction of the ‘no follow’ attribute, links in comments and TrackBacks are usually often not included in the calculation of your blog’s Google PageRank. I presume this applies to the other search engines as well. Still, the findability may not be in the search ranking - but links from other blogs is always a Good Thing.

Change What your Power Button Does

It's time to think outside the box on this Quicktip. The power button on the front of your PC; what does it do? It tends to put my computer at home to sleep when I press it, but what if you've got other stuff you'd rather it be doing?
What about just shutting the system down? Perhaps you'd like it to make your PC hibernate? Shoot, what if you don't want it to do anything at all?
Here's the tip.
For Windows Vista:Type “Powercfg.cpl” in the search box minus the quotes. Once the Power Options window appears, click on “Choose what the power button does” off to the left. Here, you can assign a function to the power button and away you go!
For Windows XP: Click Start>Run and then type in “Powercfg.cpl”, once again, minus the quotes. Under the Advanced tab you'll see options for how you want the power button to react to your press. Funny, though, that only XP gives you the option to have Windows ask you what you want to do when you press the button. This option is strangely absent in Vista. I guess Vista doesn't ask, Vista only tells!

Conserve your LCD Monitor's Lifespan
Like all electronics, LCD monitors have a lifespan. Usually, this can be up to ten years or so, but even after only a couple of years our monitors can begin to dim; giving us a dark, eye-straining image that can make it difficult to get anything accomplished! You can tweak the brightness, fiddle with the contrast, but the damage has already been done. Your backlight is dying and you need to start shopping for a new monitor.
But wait! Say the monitor you're using still looks good at the moment. Is there any way to prolong the life of your LCD?
Why, yes, folks, there is! It's really easy, too! Notice the row of buttons on the front or side of your monitor? That's the adjustment panel. Here, you can set your monitor's brightness, contrast, horizontal and vertical positioning and a bunch of other settings to make your viewing experience better!
For now, all we're concerned with is the brightness and contrast. To make sure the backlight in your monitor lives as long as possible, turn both of these down a bit; just to tolerable levels. This takes the strain off of your monitor's backlight and will ensure that your investment sticks around for awhile!
As an added bonus: Here's a neat site that has all sorts of tests and explanations to keep your LCD monitor looking good and performing up to spec: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/
Keep it alive!
